About Jennifer Schiavi FNP-BC
(She/Her/Hers)
Experience.
I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with a fierce passion for ADHD, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Brockport School of Nursing. I am also armed with a highly ranked education from the Rochester School of Nursing at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. With over 12 years of combined nursing experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. My training in integrative and functional psychiatry for ADHD sets me apart, allowing me to approach care with a holistic mindset. I have had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the field, including renowned psychologists Russell Barkley, a leading expert on ADHD, and Peg Dawson, a pioneer in executive function and learning strategies.
What I stand for.
I stand for holistic health care that sees the whole person, not just a single body part, especially when it comes to mental health. I believe in the transformative power of functional medicine, which addresses the root causes of issues rather than just symptoms. My commitment to culturally sensitive care ensures that every individual feels valued and understood, and I proudly support the LGBTQ+ community, championing inclusivity and empowerment in every aspect of health and wellness.
